Our high-grade Polypropylene is UV-stabilized, meaning it won’t rapidly become brittle in the summer sun, and it has the flexibility required to contour perfectly to your roof without lifting.
In most cases, with standard fascia gutters, yes absolutely! The “rolled-in” system is highly versatile. We can install our mesh on roofs with standard concrete tiles, slate, terracotta tiles, corrugated iron (Colorbond), and deck roofing. The mesh is highly flexible and conforms seamlessly.
Yes. The mesh is uniquely designed to keep leaves out of the gutter while allowing unrestricted water flow. The mesh surface is made up of thousands of small apertures (holes) that are carefully sized and spaced for superior water drainage. The mesh is also quite heavy — approximately 1kg per m2, which is heavier than many steel and aluminium meshes — and can withstand strong winds and heavy downpours.

While no system is “set and forget” forever, GBL Gutter Guards will significantly reduce maintenance. The mesh prevents large debris like leaves and twigs from entering the gutter. Over time, fine dust or pollen may enter, but this can flush out with rain. We recommend a minimum of one simple visual inspection once a year, rather than the dangerous, frequent cleaning required without guards. For areas with higher leaf fall more checks will be needed, feel free to ask us what we think is best in your situation.

Yes, this is essential — we need to inspect your gutters and ensure they’re clean before installation, otherwise we’d potentially be ‘locking in’ blockages, which could prove disastrous.

Our screwed down systems are held in place with hundreds of screws per job, our rolled-in gutter guards are glued on with roof silicone. Additionally, the polymesh material is relatively heavy—approximately 1kg per m2—which helps it withstand strong winds and heavy downpours without shifting or dislodging.
Rather than sitting flat across the roof edge and being screwed on, our rolled-in technique involves seating the mesh in the gutter and inside the roll bead of the gutter edge. This minimises the labour involved in installation and future maintenance cleans.
